Epiphyte 20-30 cm long. Leaves elliptic-oblong, 7.5-10.5 cm long. 1.3-2.4 cm wide. Inflorescence 3-5 flowered. Flowers 1.2-2 cm across, yellow. Lip whitish-pink, base succate, apex narrow with 2 appendages.

Hill evergreen forest in the north, flowering in August.

Distribution : Sri Lanka, India, Myanmar, S. China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
